Q: I want my clients to be directed to my website everytime they logout.  Is this possible?

Yes! In addition to being able to put a login form in your website, you can also set what URL the client goes to when they log out of their account.  This is done through the "Redirect URLs" settings.  You can also make your header a link, set what page they go to when they have a failed login, and make the "forums" link go to a forum that you host.  To learn how to set your Redirect URLs, CLICK HERE

Q: How do I get notified when I have a new Private Message from a client?

When you have a new Private Message, you will see a number listed next to the "Message" link in the upper-right corner of your screen. You can also set up your account to send you an email when you receive a new message.  To learn how to set up the email notification, please see our Private Message page.  

Q: How do I get listed in the free Coaching Directory?

You can be listed in our free Coaching Directory.  The settings for this are in "My Settings"...."Personal Information".  For more information, please see the My Settings support page.

Q: My ATP does not have any swims or bikes before my client's Spring Marathon.  Where did they go?

Any race that is an "A Race" is going to train that client for that specific race type.  For example, if you have a triathlete that is training for a Spring marathon and a Fall Ironman, if you list the marathon as an "A Race", it will only give you training hours for running.  There will be no swim or bike until after that race is done.  If the marathon is truly an "A" race, then your client would be training like a runner.  If you want to also have swim and bike information, you need to make that Spring marathon a "B Race".  For more information on creating an ATP, CLICK HERE.

Q: My Client is not Receiving the Nightly Email Notification, Can I Fix This?

Yes!  You or your client can change the settings for nightly email notifications.  To access this information, click on the client's name...user settings...then select the "personal info" tab.  Make sure their email is correct.  Next click the "account" tab.  Under 'email options' make sure the setting in enabled, there is a time zone selected, and the hour of delivery is set. 

Q: How are the Color Codings of Workouts Defined?

Colors can be set by workout compliance, workout type, or both. Read more about that here. If set by compliance, then Green = workout was completed within 80%-120% of planned duration.  Yellow = 79%-50% or 121%-150%.  Red = 0-49% or >151%

Q: How do I change the order of mulitple workouts within one specific day on the Calendar?

To set a specific order of workouts on a day, set a Planned Start Time for the workout from either the Week or Day Calendar View, or from the Detailed View.  The Calendar will display multiple workouts on a given day in the chronological order of their Planned Start Time.

Q: What will happen to Desktop Companion?

Desktop Companion is currently still usable with TrainingPeaks.com, but there are some caveats that you should be aware of if you choose to continue to use Desktop Companion. Find out more here.

Q: Are all Classic Mode features available in the new version?

No, we continue to allow you to use Classic Mode to access any features not yet converted over to the new application.

Q: Is there print functionality in the new version of TrainingPeaks.com similar to what was available in Classic Mode?

Yes, the Calendar in the new version of TrainingPeaks.com has a comprehensive print function. 

Q: Can Professionals upload videos or pictures directly into the new version of TrainingPeaks and onto the calendar?

Eventually yes, but not in the current release.  We expect to have media upload functionality for users in the Spring 2010.

Q: Where is the profile data for clients in the new version of TrainingPeaks.com?

Click on the name of the client in quesiton in the People Library, then click the "Preferences" tab in the popup window that appears.  There, you will be able to access your client information, Heart Rate Zones and Power Zones pages. Find out more here.

Q: What if I don't want clients to see my entire library of workouts?  I would like to block that out.

Clients are no longer able to see your library of workouts.

Q: What is the view for the client vs. the professional in the new version of TrainingPeaks?

It is the same, clients have the same "view" and you can both coordinate a customized "perspective." See More here

Q: In the new version of TrainingPeaks, how do I move workouts around on the same day, and set a specific order?  I know to click and drag but it doesn't work if I just want to change the order of the workouts.  Sometimes the order automatically changes without me doing it.

The sort order is controlled by "planned start time" for the workout, all workouts are set to midnight by default. So, change your view to the "Week View" on the Calendar, at the top, you'll see icons of each workout, drag them down and assign a time for them and the "month view" will then show them in order of starting time.

Q: Where is the Annual Training Plan and Virtual Coach in the new version of TrainingPeaks?

The ATP and VirtualCoach are now available from the new interface of TrainingPeaks.  See More Here.

Q: Where is the Training Graphs so I can see a clients weekly hours, mileage etc..., in the new version of TrainingPeaks?
