Creating a Plan for Internal Use
Professionals can leverage the Training Plan feature to create plans that can be used over and over again, for any number of clients. There are three ways to create a Training Plan, each described below, followed by instructions on how to apply a plan. For additional information, please watch the "Create, Save and Sell Plans" archived webinar.
CREATING A PLAN FROM AN EXISTING CLIENT'S CALENDAR
CREATING A PLAN FROM AN EXISTING PLAN
-
Click on the "Plans, Pods & Store" section in the left-side of your screen
-
Click "New Plan". This will bring up a box where you name your plan.
-
Name your plan and click "OK"
-
This will bring up the detail specifics for your plan. This area is where you can set information if you want to sell the plan. If you are using this plan for internal purposes only, just make sure your plan name is accurate and then click the "x" in the upper-right area of this details screen. (see photo below)

-
When you click the Close X, you will now see an empty calendar. Ignore the dates for this calendar, they are irrelevant. At this point, you add workouts and/or meals that will make up the plan. You can click on the Training section and the Nutrition section to access your libraries of meals and workouts, or simply click on a day and create the workout/meal from the calendar.
-
Once you are done, there is no need to 'save' because the plan is auto-saved.

Now you have a blank calendar loaded for this plan, you need to load a 2nd calendar from the client who has the training schedule you want to make into a plan. To do this, go to the People section and click on the client's name.
-
Click "Calendar 2".
-
Now you will see the plan calendar loaded on the left, and the client's calendar loaded on the right. Copy the workouts/days/weeks over from right to left. You can highlight entire weeks by clicking on the verticle bar just to the left of the week. Use Shift to highlight consecutive weeks.

-
Once you have copied all the workouts and/or meals from the client over to the plan, you are done, the plan is created and ready to use for other clients!

Creating a Plan from an Existing Plan
This option allows you to efficiently create different versions of one plan.
- From the Plans, Pods & Store area, click on the name of the plan you want to use for the new plan
- From the pop-up box, click "Clone"
-
Name your plan and click "OK"
-
This will bring up the detail specifics for your plan. This area is where you can set information if you want to sell the plan. If you are using this plan for internal purposes only, just make sure your plan name is accurate and then click the "x" in the upper-right area of this details screen. (see photo below)

-
Now you will see the plan calendar loaded with all the workouts and/or meals from the plan you copied. Make any changes you want for this new plan. Once you are finished with your updates the plan is complete and ready to be applied.
-
Click on the plan name, then select "apply" from the pop-up box.
-
You will notice the people section opens in the left-area. You will also see a larger pop-up box for the plan. Drag the client names from the people section over to the plan pop-up box. Do this for each client for whom you want to apply the plan.
-
Now that you have your client list built for this plan, you can either apply the plan to all of them on the same time-frame ("Apply to all"), or you can choose different time frames for each client. You can also choose to apply the plan based on a start date or on an end date.
Best Practice Tip: use the plan area to 'practice' or to do a rough-draft of a training program you are working on for a client. The plan acts as a 'white-board' for your thoughts and allows you to make changes without directly effecting a client's calendar.
