Applying a Route to a Workout

You can apply a route to a planned or already completed workout on your calendar.  This can be done by applying a public route or one of your own routes that you have created.  For additional information such as how to create, find and share routes, see Routes.

There are three ways to apply a route to a planned or completed workout:

  • Apply a route through the Route tab on the Quick View
  • Apply a route saved in "My Library" in the Summary tab of the Quick View
  • Apply a route through the Workout Details View

Follow these steps for applying a route:

For the first Quick View method, open up a workout on your calendar to access the Quick View

  1. Click on the Route tab.  If you do not have the Route tab, you will need to Configure your Quick View

    save route from qv

  2. Click on Search for a route or View your routes to bring up the left side list of routes
  3. Once you find the route you want to apply, simply drag and drop it onto your Quick View

    route to qv
  4. The route you chose will then be applied and you will see it in your Quick View
For the second Quick View method, open up a workout on your calendar to access the Quick View ( this option only applies to routes saved in "My Routes Library").
1.  Click on the Summary tab
2.  Scroll down to the  Route dropdown option and select the route you wish to apply to workout
Upload Route Quick View
The third option is to open the workout so that you are on the Workout Details view, then click on Map & Graph
  1. Click on View your routes or Search for a route to bring up the list of routes on the left side pane
  2. Find the route you want to apply and drag and drop it onto the Workout Details view

    ApplyR4

  3. If you need to remove a route, click on the 'X' next to the route name and it will remove the route from the workout

    change remove route qv
