A meal template is a meal that you can use over and over again without having to re-create the meal information.  You create it one time, save it as a template, and any future times you use this meal it's a simple as drag-and-drop from your library to the calendar.

2 Ways to Create a Meal Template:

  1. Use the "New Meal" button in the nutrition section of your account.  This method will save the meal as a template in your library and you can drag-and-drop it from your list of meals to the calendar.

  2. Save a meal that you already created on the calendar back to your library.  This is the method to use if you already have a meal on the calendar and decide that you would like to have it saved for future use.  The instructions and photos below show you how to save a meal back to your library as a meal template:

To do this, click on the meal to bring up the Quick View, then click "view all details". From the detailed view, you can click the Tools link and then select "Copy to Library".  If you have made any changes to the meal you will need to click the "Save" button first.

The meal will then appear in the Nutrition Library within the Templates menu, under "Meals".
