Once you have uploaded a file successfully there will be three main tabs in the File Viewer to be used to display the Map/Graph Profile, Summary and Profile sections.

Click the Map/Graph tab to display the Graph and/or Map depending on what data was uploaded. Then customize the view with these additional features:

  • Click on "Smooth" and select which data lines to smooth, then move the slider to select the amount of smoothing to apply.
  • Click each tab at the top right (rpm, ft/m, bpm, watts, mph/kph, N*m) to customize the appearance of the graph.
  • Check the "Bars" box at the bottom left to view shown metrics in a large format, especially good when 'playing' the file.
  • Use "Play" controls at the top right to play the file from start to finish.
  • While playing the file, watch the numbers in the bottom left change to reflect the point being viewed in the file.

Roll your mouse and hover over any one of the vertical "y" axis lines to see just that one line reflected on the graph.

Check the "Zoom" box at the bottom left, then "left-click" and drag your mouse over any section of the graph to reduce the view to just that segment of the file. Its also possible to change the graph view by moving the timeline slider at the bottom of the screen or extend the slider with it's right or left tabs to better navigate the file. Mouse over any point of any line on the graph to see data for that particular point in the file.

If a file with GPS data has been uploaded, there will be a Map pod complete with an Elevation Profile available to view. Mouse over any point on the Elevation Profile and see an icon on the map reflected the point selected as well as distance and elevation details. When "Zoom" is clicked at the left side of the page, you can then click/drag select any section of the Elevation Profile and see the section selected highlighted in orange on the map. When selected other data such as [elevation] "Grade", "Gain" and "Loss" can be viewed.

Click the "Summary" tab in the top right corner to display summary data from the activity including (dependent upon what data was uploaded):

  • Stats for Distance, Calories, Energy, Temperature, Elevation Gain and Speed or Pace
  • Avg and Max Heart Rate, Power, Torque, Elevation, Cadence, Speed and Pace
  • Workout Description, Comments and Notes
  • Power and Heart Rate Zones (click the graph or chart icons in the top right of each pod to change the view)
  • Mean Maximal Power Curve, Heart Rate, Speed and Cadence pods.

TrainingPeaks File Public Profile

Click the "Profile" link at the top left to view the individual's public profile. Public profiles can be edited in Preferences/Personal Info.

The Sharing feature within the Journal view allows you to share your Journal through Email, Facebook and Twitter. After sharing your Journal, others will be able to view your workout map, graph, profile and summary data.
