Validating Your Email Address

TrainingPeaks requires users to validate their email address before any automated emails are sent to the user.  These automated emails include planned workout notifications, occasional newsletter and other types of notification emails from TrainingPeaks. These email preferences are set from within Account Settings, in the Account tab.

IMPORTANT:  Coach Account users and their clients will need to have emails validated or the Coach will not receive Post Workout Notifications.  To check if a client has a validated email, click on the name in your client list and then select "user settings".  Next to the email address it will either say validated or not validated.  You cannot validate a client's email address, they must do it.


Follow these steps for validating your email address:

  1. If you have never validated your email address, you will receive an email from TrainingPeaks with a link included to click on for validation, and, you will see this notification when you log in to your account.

  2. Click on 'Modify' if you need to change your email address or just click on 'Validate'

  3. After you click on Validate, you will be sent an email that will have a link to click on for completing your validation.  Once you have opened the email and clicked on the link to complete your validation, your email address will be validated in our system and you will receive all auto-generated emails that are chosen to be sent.
