Defining the Coach-Client Relationship
Coaches and clients have different kinds of relationships. For more information on adding a client as the current coach, please click here.
Current Coach --> Client
- Can view and mange the client's calendar
- Can receive Post Workout Notification Emails from Premium or Self-Paid clients
- Can remove the client from the client list
- Can categorize the client
- Can change the client between Basic and Premium
Current Coach --> Shared Client
- Can view and manage the client's calendar
- Can remove a Shared client from their client list
- Can receive Post Workout Notification Emails from Premium or Self-Paid clients
- Cannot categorize the client
- Cannot change the client between Basic and Premium
Head Coach --> Assistant Client
- Can view and manage the client's calendar
- Can pay for the assistant client's Premium account
- Cannot receive Post Workout Notification Emails from Premium or Self-Paid clients
- Cannot remove the client from the client list
- Cannot categorize the client
- Cannot change the client between Basic and Premium
Assistant Coach --> Head Coach's Client
- An Assisant coach cannot see any Head Coach's clients
To see which client type one of your clients is, click on their name in the client list.

*TrainingPeaks Tip: You can also open your client list, click on Options, then select View Filter Options to see how many of each client type you have in your client list.
