Q: How do I create Forums for my own clients or for people who purchase a plan that I sell?
A: This can now be done once you are logged into your Coach Edition Account. Once you are logged into your Coach Edition account, click on the Forums link in the upper right hand corner of your account and follow the instructions for creating your own Forums. CLICK HERE to learn more.
Q: How do I get a TrainingPeaks login box for my coaching website?
A: We would be happy to supply the HTML code you need for a login box. Just CONTACT US and we will send that to you. Be sure to include your username with your request.
Q: How do I attach a client with an existing account to my Coach account?
A: To attach an existing account, click on "new client" and then send an email request to the athlete. When they receive the request, they will have the ability to enter their user name and password to accept the connection.
Q: Why don't I receive Post Workout Notifications for all of my clients?
A: You can receive notifications for your Premium or Self-paid clients. However, you will not receive notifications for clients who are only shared with you. They must actually be connected to you. Click on the client name to see if the account is a shared athlete.
Q: What is the difference between a "Shared" coach and a "Connected" coach listed on an athlete's account information?
A: A Current Coach is different than other Professional Edition Account users that a client is shared with. A client can only have one Current Coach. A Current Coach has financial responsibility for the Personal Edition account, whereas a Shared Coach does not. A Current Coach also has the final say, over the Shared Professional, in making changes to the Personal Edition Account.
Q: How do I update my credit card information?
A: To update your CC information, click on "my settings...account". In the Payment area, you can click "update credit card" to upgrade the card used for the Premium clients. If you have the Basic Client feature, you also must click the update link under Recurring Payments. These are two separate settings that both must be updated.
Q: When is the iPhone app going to be available for my Coach account?
A: We are very actively working on the iPhone app for coaches and will have it available in the very near future. We will announce it on our website once it is available. For now, you can access the Coach account on your mobile device through www.trainingpeaks.com/m
