Copy, Move and Edit Workouts and Meals

Please note that moving a calendar item, whether it a meal or a workout, from the scheduled day into the future is a Premium only feature

The easiest method to move a Workout or Meal on the Calendar is to Click and Drag the item to a different date.

You can also Copy, Cut, or Delete a Workout or a Meal on the Calendar from the Quick View.

You can also use these keyboard shortcuts within TrainingPeaks:

  • SHIFT + X = cut workouts/meals
  • SHIFT + C = copy workouts/meals
  • SHIFT + V = paste workouts/meals
  • Hold SHIFT = select one item, then select last item, highlights all items in between
  • Hold CTL = select individual items to highlight

Below are instructions for each method of Copying, Cutting, Pasting, and Deleting of Workouts and Meals.

Copy/Cut and Paste a single Workout or Meal from one date to another:

  1. Click the Workout or Meal on the Calendar that you wish to Copy/Cut from
  2. Copy or cut, or press CTL + C (copy) or CTL + X (cut) on your keyboard
  3. Click the down arrow icon for the day you wish to Paste this item to
  4. Click "Paste Items" in the window that appears or press CTL + V (paste) on your keyboard

Copy/Cut and Paste all Workouts and Meals from one date to another:

    1. Click the down icon for the day you wish to Copy/Cut from
    2. In the window that appears, click either "Copy day", "Cut day"or "Delete Day" or press CTL + C or CTL + X on your keyboard
  1. Click the down arrow icon for the day you wish to Paste to
  2. Click "Paste Items" in the window that appears, or press CTL + V on your keyboard

Copy/Cut and Paste multiple Workouts or Meals from multiple days:

    1. Click the Date header for the first day of the series you wish to Copy/Cut from
    2. Hold down the Shift key on your keyboard and click the last day of the series you wish to Copy/Cut from
    3. In the window that appears, click either "Copy Selected Items" , "Cut Selected Items" or "Delete Selected Items", or press CTL + C/CTL + X
  1. Click the Date header for the first day of the date range you wish to Paste to
  2. Click "Paste Items" in the window that appear, or press CTL + V on your keyboard

Copy/Cut and Paste all Workouts and Meals from one week to another:

    1. Click the down arrow icon in the Weekly Summary of the week you wish to Copy/Cut from
    2. In the window that appears, click either "Copy Week", "Cut Week", "Delete Week", "Move Week items" or press CTL + C/CTL + X
  1. Click the down arrow icon in the Weekly Summary of the week you wish to Paste to
  2. Click "Paste Items" in the window that appears, or press CTL + V on your keyboard

Copy/Cut and Paste all Workouts and Meals from multiple weeks:

  1. Click the header of the Weekly Summary box of the first week you wish to Copy/Cut from
  2. Hold down the Shift key on your keyboard and click the header of the Weekly Summary box of the last week of the series you wish to Copy/Cut from
  3. In the window that appears, click either "Copy Week", "Cut Week", "Delete Week", "Move Week items" or press CTL + C/CTL + X
  4. Click the down arrow icon in the Weekly Summary of the week you wish to Paste to
  5. Click "Paste Items" in the window that appears, or press CTL + V on your keyboard
